Resolution

WHEREAS, the position of Information Technology Services Director has been filled by Matt Jaeger since January 1, 2020; and

WHEREAS, the Chief of Internal Services/Interim County Manager requested staff to re-evaluate the position pay as well as other financial considerations due to current market conditions; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) of Lewis County and the Chief of Internal Services/Interim County Manager agree that it is in the public’s best interest to amend Matt Jaeger's employment contract to reflect the current market conditions; and

WHEREAS, the effective date of this amendment is April 18, 2023. Further the terms of this amended contract shall be set forth in the attached contract agreed upon by both parties.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC and the Chief of Internal Services/Interim County Manager hereby amend the employment contract for Matt Jaeger, Information Technology Services Director, and the BOCC hereby authorizes the Chief of Internal Services/Interim County Manager to sign the same on behalf of the county.
