REAPPOINT RON AVERILL, TOM CROWSON AND BONNIE BROWN TO THE PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT (PFD) BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) created the Lewis County Public Facilities District (PFD) pursuant to RCWs 36.100 and 82.14.390 via Resolution 07-247 on Aug. 13, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed the initial PFD Board of Directors via Resolution 07-248 on Aug. 13, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed Tom Crowson to represent District 3 on the PFD Board of Directors via Resolution 19-059 with a term ending June 1, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed Ron Averill to represent District 1 and Bonnie Brown to represent District 2 on the PFD Board of Directors via Resolution 19-397 for terms ending August 13, 2022; and
WHEREAS, all three individuals have expressed a willingness to continue serving on the PFD; and
WHEREAS, it is the best public interest to reappoint Ron Averill, Bonnie Brown and Tom Crowson to the PFD Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, though Resolution 07-247 established staggered four-year terms for the five PFD Board of Directors positions -- with the terms for two positions expiring at one time and the term for the three other positions expiring two years later -- the PFD positions have not retained those staggered terms; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC wishes to re-establish the staggered terms.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby reappoints Ron Averill, Bonnie Brown and Tom Crowson to the PFD Board of Directors as follows
