WHEREAS, Lewis County is performing renovations to the aging Swine Barn at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds Park, and the current floor, which is a combination of crumbling asphalt and heavy soils, is in desperate need of replacement; and

WHEREAS, bids were solicited from the Small Works Roster, and responses were as follows:

Four Seasons	Tacoma, WA	$58,849.30 plus tax
C&C Development	Chehalis, WA	62,553.12 plus tax
MDK Construction	Centralia, WA	$75,287.78, including tax

 ; and

WHEREAS, Four Seasons has submitted the lowest responsible bid of $58,849.30 plus tax.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Swine Barn floor be awarded to Four Seasons Concrete Construction LLC in the amount of $58,849.30 plus tax, and the Chief of Internal Services be authorized to sign of behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
