Summary:

A call for bids for the Salzer Valley Road HMA Project, SM 20F150510535, was made on February 23, 2023. Public Works received two bids for this project on March 16, 2023. Granite Construction, Olympia, WA, provided the lowest responsive bid of $51,000.00.

Lewis County Public Works recommends that the contract for the Salzer Valley Road HMA Project be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, Granite Construction Company.

Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155, a call for bids for the Salzer Valley Road HMA Project, SM 20F150510535, in Lewis County was made on February 23, 2023; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations were submitted on March 16, 2023, from contractors and calculated as follows:

 ; and

WHEREAS, Granite Construction Company provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $51,000.00 for the Salzer Valley Road HMA Project, SM 20F150510535.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Salzer Valley Road HMA Project, SM 20F150510535, in Lewis County shall be awarded to Granite Construction Company in the amount of $51,000.00, upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
