WHEREAS, Lewis County is actively recruiting for a County Manager; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to use the services of a consultant to assist in the talent search and expand the search globally; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County has received a recruitment services proposal from GMP Consultants, a professional recruiting consultant; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC has had an opportunity to review the consulting agreement, attached as "Attachment A"; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to ratify this consulting agreement with GMP Consultants.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves of the terms and conditions of the attached consulting agreement between Lewis County and GMP Consultants to conduct recruitment services for $19,500 plus any additional expenses as outlined in the consulting agreement, and hereby ratifies the contract executed by the County Manager.
