WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) may appoint six representatives to the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA) Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County's representatives can serve up to three consecutive two-year terms on the Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC had made the following appointments, all of which expired Dec. 31, 2022:

• Resolution 21-349: Appointed Carol Brock to fill the remainder of an unexpired term
• Resolution 20-455: Appointed Heidi Buswell to fill her first full two-year term
• Resolution 21-020: Appointed Amy Turnbull to fill her first full two-year term
• Resolution 21-349: Appointed Cynthia Clark to fill her first full two-year term

WHEREAS, Carol Brock, Heidi Buswell and Amy Turnbull have expressed a willingness to continue serving on the LMTAAA Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, Cynthia Clark does not wish to continue serving on the LMTAAA Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, Debbie Aust of Chehalis has expressed an interest in serving on the LMTAAA Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest to appoint qualified individuals to the LMTAAA Advisory Council.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby reappoints Carol Brock, Heidi Buswell and Amy Turnbull to the LMTAAA Advisory Council and appoints Debbie Aust to the LMTAAA Advisory Council, effective immediately, to fill terms as follows:
