Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed the interlocal agreements between the Lewis County Sheriff's Office and the Thurston County Sheriff's Office; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said service contracts; and

WHEREAS, this contracts allow annual renewal by contract amendment; and

WHEREAS, this contract will charge for inmate beds at a rate of $66.56; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC authorizes the Sheriff, or his designee, to approve and sign future amendments extending the duration of this agreement.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the aforesaid agreement for utilization of jail facilities by the Thurston County Sheriff's Office is hereby approved, and the BOCC is authorized to sign the same.
