APPROVE CONTRACT WITH WEEKS MORTUARY DBA NEWELL-HOERLING'S MORTUARY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Coroner's Office does not provide removal services for decedents; and
WHEREAS, Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary submitted a bid to be part of a monthly rotation; and
WHEREAS, the standard form of billing for such services is per removal.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners supports the 2023 contract between the Lewis County Coroner's Office and Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary at the rate of $450.00 per removal and a fee of $695.00 per indigent cremation.
