WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 39. 34, Buy Board National Purchasing Cooperative is a municipal contracting agency that establishes and provides nationally leveraged and competitively solicited purchasing contracts; and

WHEREAS, Buy Board National Purchasing Cooperative provides awarded contracts that were competitively bid to enable Governmental, Education, and Non- profit agencies to purchase a variety of products and services at a significantly lower rate; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to execute an agreement between Lewis County and Buy Board National Purchasing Cooperative.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approves an Intergovernmental Purchasing Agreement between Lewis County and Buy Board National Purchasing Cooperative, and authorizes the Capital Facilities Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the BOCC.
