APPROVE A CONTRACT AWARD FOR PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS-ELECTRIC
WHEREAS, 57 W Main is a public works project and will be the Public Works Administration Building for Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, much of the labor will be completed by Lewis County Facilities staff; and
WHEREAS, supplies will be required for installation by Lewis County Facilities electricians; and
WHEREAS, bids for electric supplies were solicited using the Small Works Roster. All 14 companies under the electrical category were solicited to bid and Platt Electric Supply is the low bidder at $121,095 plus tax.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the Chief of Internal Services, to sign a contract with Platt Electric Supply to provide the necessary electrical supplies to be installed at 57 W Main St by Lewis County Facilities crew.
