Business Meeting: Oct. 18, 2022
Summary:This MOU is between Lewis County Public Health & Social Services and The Housing Resource Center to provide year round emergency shelter services to persons who are literally or at imminent risk of homelessness in Lewis County. The COVID-19 Outbreak reduced the number of year round emergency shelter bed units available in Lewis County, due to spacing requirements. These funds are to provide up to 16 shelter beds to replace those beds lost and increase capacity. This program is county wide, working in conjunction with coordinated entry. The goal of this program is to provide emergency shelter to community members experiencing homelessness and engage them in case management services tailored to support the goal of rapidly rehousing them.
