LIST THE BIDS RECEIVED AND CONTRACTOR SELECTED FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT / IT ELECTRICAL SERVICE INSTALLATION PROJECT #31-2219
WHEREAS, Lewis County is currently renovating a series of buildings to create a "campus" where the majority of public services can be located, making business with the county by its citizens easier and more accessible; and
WHEREAS, one of these locations requires an updated electrical service to serve the county offices contained therein, and a bid call was issued using the Small Works Roster to install said service; and
WHEREAS, one bid was received from BES Electrical Services, of Olympia, Wash., for $189,000. The bid appears reasonable, and staff recommends acceptance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Community Development/IT Electrical Service be awarded to BES Electrical Services; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Internal Services be authorized to sign said contract of behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
