WHEREAS, the Lewis County Coroner's Office does not provide removal services for decedents; and

WHEREAS, Sticklin Mortuary was the only funeral home to submit a bid for providing removals; and

WHEREAS, the standard form of billing for such services is per removal.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners supports the 2020 contract between the Lewis County Coroner's Office and Sticklin Mortuary at the rate of $270 per removal and a fee of $500 per indigent cremation.
