Summary:

This resolution will approve a supplement that cumulatively increases a maximum amount payable in 2022 by more than $200,000 for the On Call Structural Engineering consultant agreement (STRUCT2021) with TranTech Engineering, LLC.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 21-038, changes or amendments to consulting services contracts, projects, agreements, grant applications, contract amendments and change orders, originally approved by a director that increase the required cumulative annual expenditure on the consulting services contract, project, agreement, or grant application to more than $200,000 shall be approved by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC); and

WHEREAS, an agreement (STRUCT2021) was executed with TranTech Engineering, LLC, on January 1, 2022, including a maximum amount payable of $50,000; and

WHEREAS, approval for Supplemental Agreement Number 1 is needed to increase STRUCT2021's maximum amount payable by an additional $250,000 to a new maximum amount payable of $300,000 for task orders related to an increased annual load rating program, preliminary and final design of a new structure for the Jones Road culvert replacement, final design and construction services for Ferrier Road bridge, and approximately $50,000 of reserve for future task orders.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that increasing the maximum amount payable by $250,000 for agreement STRUCT2021, to a total of $300,000, through Supplemental Agreement Number 1, bringing the total increases of STRUCT2021 in 2022 to $250,000, is hereby approved by the BOCC.
