Resolution
RATIFY A CONTRACT AWARDED TO WILLYGOAT LLC TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT THE VARIOUS LEWIS COUNTY PARKS
WHEREAS, Lewis County Parks & Recreation Department issued a Request for Proposals for the materials and installation of playground equipment on February 24, 2022; and
WHEREAS, proposals were received on March 10, 2022, and the opening of the bids took place on March 10, 2022 at the Fair Office via Zoom at 9am. Two complete bids were received. They are as follows:
NW Playground - Bid $410,941
WillyGoat LLC - Bid $280,466.72
WillyGoat LLC was chosen as they were the lowest bidder.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby provides after-the-fact approval of the proposal with WillyGoat LLC, not to exceed $280,466.72, for the materials and installation of playground equipment to the various Lewis County parks to be paid out of REET II, Fund 3120; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the BOCC hereby ratifies the signature of the Parks & Recreation Director to said contract.
