Summary:

The State Developmental Disabilities Administration contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of grant money for services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities. This subcontract provides funding for Compass to provide Individual Supported Employment and Community Inclusion services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed the contract C01-0163-22 with Compass to provide Individual Supported Employment and Community Inclusion services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, these services are tailored to individual needs, interests and abilities to promote career development and independent living for persons with developmental disabilities; and

WHEREAS, the total budget consideration for this contract is $95,000.00; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that contract C01-0163-22 between Compass and Lewis County to provide Individual Supported Employment and Community Inclusion services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, is hereby approved, and the Interim Director of Public Health and Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
