Resolution
APPROVE CONTRACT R01-0165-22 BETWEEN RELIABLE ENTERPRISES AND LEWIS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed the contract R01-0165-22 with Reliable Enterprises to provide Individual Employment, Community Inclusion, Child Development, and other supportive services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the Individual Supported Employment services are necessary to help persons with developmental disabilities obtain and continue integrated employment at or above the state's minimum wage in the general workforce; and
WHEREAS, the Community Inclusion services promote individualized skill development, independent living and community integration for persons to learn how to actively and independently engage in their local community; and
WHEREAS, the Child Development Services are designed to meet the developmental needs of each eligible child and the needs of the family related to enhancing the child's development; and
WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that contract R01-0165-22 between Lewis County and Reliable Enterprises to provide Individual Employment, Community Inclusion, Child Development, and other supportive services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, is hereby approved and the Interim Director of Public Health and Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
