Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) created the Lewis County Public Facilities District (PFD) pursuant to RCWs 36.100 and 82.14.390 via Resolution 07-247 on Aug. 13, 2007; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed the initial PFD Board of Directors via Resolution 07-248 on Aug. 13, 2007; and

WHEREAS, PFD Board of Directors member Brian Ballton, who represented District 1 on the PFD, resigned May 10, 2022, creating a vacancy; and

WHEREAS, Centralia resident Jonathan Meyer has expressed an interest and willingness to serve on the PFD.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby appoints Jonathan Meyer to the PFD Board of Directors to represent District 1; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Jonathan Meyer will serve out the remainder of Brian Ballton's unexpired term, which was set to expire on August 13, 2022, and then serve a four-year term through August 31, 2026.
