A call for bids for the Crumb Road MP 0.17 Culvert Replacement project, SM 20F630050017, DR 4539 PW 121 was made on June 9, 2022. The project was advertised in the Chronicle, the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce and on Lewis County's website. Public Works received three bids for this project on June 23, 2022.

Quigg Bros., Inc. provided the lowest responsive bid of $1,081,630.00. The Engineer's Estimate for this project was $931,387.50.

Public Works recommends awarding this project to the lowest responsive bidder, Quigg Bros., Inc.

Resolution

WHEREAS, a call for bids was issued June 9, 2022, for the Crumb Road MP 0.17 Culvert Replacement Project, SM 20F630050017, DR 4539 PW 121; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted from the contractors as follows

WHEREAS, Quigg Bros., Inc. provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $1,081,630.00 for the Crumb Road MP 0.17 Culvert Replacement Project, SM 20F630050017, DR 4539 PW 121.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Crumb Road MP 0.17 Project, SM 20F630050017, DR 4539 PW 121 shall be awarded to Quigg Bros., Inc. in the amount of $1,081,630.00 upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
