Summary:

The State Developmental Disabilities Administration contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of grant money for services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This subcontract provides funding for Compass Career Solutions to provide Individual Employment and Community Inclusion services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County. The purpose of this amendment is to increase the total contract allocation. The contract duration is July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the amendment B C01-0133-22-B to the professional service contract C01-0133-21 with Compass Career Services to provide Individual Employment and Community Inclusion Services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, these services are an effort to maximize individual potential while promoting choices, opportunities and inclusion in our community; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022; and

WHEREAS, this amendment adds $6,000 to the original contract amount of $74,000 to the bring the total allocation to $80,000; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said amendment.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that amendment C01-0133-22B between Lewis County and Compass Career Solutions to provide Individual Employment and Community Inclusion Services to eligible persons in Lewis County from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, is hereby approved, and the Interim Director of Public Health and Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
