Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed the contract G01-0160-22 with Lewis County Gospel Mission to provide hygiene services to community members experiencing homelessness in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, these services are part of the 5-year homeless housing plan and seek to decrease the number of persons experiencing homelessness in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is May 1, 2022, through September 20, 2022; and

WHEREAS, the contract is for an amount not to exceed $15,000; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the contract G01-0160-22 between Lewis County and Lewis County Gospel Mission to provide hygiene services for persons experiencing homelessness in Lewis County May 1, 2022, through September 30, 2022, is hereby approved, and the Interim Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
