WHEREAS, Lewis County approved a consultant agreement with Tanner LLC for Long-Range Strategic Planning services via Resolution 22-131, which was passed by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on April 26, 2022; and

WHEREAS, the consultant agreement contained a scrivener’s error that incorrectly spelled out the total amount of funding provided for the contract as Thirty Five Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Dollars under the Funding and Compensation section of the agreement; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County and Tanner LLC wish to correct the scrivener’s error through the attached revised contract agreement which corrects the total amount of funding to Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($15,250) plus travel costs; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the amended consultant agreement between Lewis County and Tanner LLC to provide Long-Range Strategic Planning Services corrects a scrivener’s error providing a total of Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($15,250) plus travel costs for work to be completed by December 31, 2022, and the County Manager is authorized to sign the same.
