AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR CAMPUS UNDERGROUND FIBER BORING TO TOLEDOTEL OF TOLEDO, WASHINGTON
WHEREAS, the main County campus needs additional underground Fiber Optics installed for the new Community Development, Public Works, and Information Technology offices; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County has requested bids from the Small Works Roster for provision of such materials and labor deemed necessary to meet the requirements, scope and specifications of said project and received the following bids:
- ToledoTel of Toledo, Wash.: $144,394.00 plus tax
- Precision Fiber Inc. of Clackamas, Ore.: $157,315.00 plus tax
WHEREAS, the bids have been reviewed by Internal Services staff and appear to be responsive and meet the requirements of the project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby awards the contract for the Campus Underground Fiber Boring Project to ToledoTel of Toledo, Wash.; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby authorizes the Chief of Internal Services to sign said contract on behalf of the BOCC.
