WHEREAS, Lewis County leases the Chehalis railroad depot from the Burlington Northern Railway for the purposes of a historical museum; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Historical Society operates said museum for the benefit of the citizens of Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Lewis County to memorialize this agreement in the form of a lease between Lewis County and the Lewis County Historical Society.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners hereby approves said lease and affixes signatures thereon.
