Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County has a Civil Service Commission as outlined in RCW 41.14; and

WHEREAS, Pat Sauter has stepped down from his position on the Civil Service Commission; and

WHEREAS, Candi Faupell of Chehalis has expressed an interest and a willingness to serve on the Civil Service Commission; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to appoint Candi Faupell to serve out the remainder of Pat Sauter's six-year term, which is set to expire December 31, 2022.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby appoints Candi Faupell to the Civil Service Commission effective immediately to fill the remainder of the unexpired term expiring December 31, 2022.
