Resolution
APPROVE AN AGREEMENT FROM THE WASHINGTON STATE OFFICE OF PUBLIC DEFENSE IN THE AMOUNT OF $117,669 FOR USE IN THE CALENDAR YEAR 2022
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed the agreement between Lewis County and Washington State Office of Public Defense for Public Defense Improvement Funds for the period of January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022; and
WHEREAS, funding is available from the Washington State Office of Public Defense; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said agreement for Lewis County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the aforesaid agreement with the Washington State Office of Public Defense granting Public Defense Improvement Funds in the amount of $117,669 for calendar year 2022 is hereby approved and the Chair of the Board is authorized to sign the same.
