APPOINT BRIAN BALLTON TO THE PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT (PFD) BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) created the Lewis County Public Facilities District (PFD) pursuant to RCWs 36.100 and 82.14.390 via Resolution 07-247 on Aug. 13, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed the initial Board of Directors via Resolution 07-248 on Aug. 13, 2007; and
WHEREAS, PFD Board of Directors member Candy Hallom, who represented District 1 on the PFD, resigned July 13, 2021, creating a vacancy; and
WHEREAS, Centralia resident Brian Ballton has expressed an interest and willingness to serve on the PFD.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby appoints Brian Ballton to the PFD Board of Directors to represent District 1; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Brian Ballton will serve out the remainder of Candy Hallom's unexpired term, which was set to expire on August 13, 2022.
