Resolution

WHEREAS, due to the untimely death of Gary Stamper, who served as Chair of the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), the remaining commissioners need to establish a new Chair and Vice Chair for the remainder of 2021; and

WHEREAS, the county commissioners have an equal vote on the matter; and

WHEREAS, the commissioners believe it is in the best public interest to appoint Lindsey R. Pollock, DVM, as Chair and Sean D. Swope as Vice Chair, effective immediately, for the remainder of 2021.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC hereby appoints Lindsey R. Pollock, DVM, as Chair and Sean D. Swope as Vice Chair of the BOCC, effective immediately, for the remainder of 2021.
