Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155 a Call for Bids was made on July 15, 2021 and was sent to all companies on the Small Works Roster in the rock crushing and snow & ice control categories; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted on August 12, 2021 from contractors and hauling costs calculated as follows:

 ; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County personnel evaluated the bids, including hauling costs and taxes, to determine the most advantageous bid to Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Northwest Rock, Inc. provided the most advantageous and responsive bid quote of $147,015.00, including taxes, for the Lewis County 2021 Snow Sand Proposal.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Lewis County 2021 Snow Sand Proposal in Lewis County shall be awarded to Northwest Rock, Inc. in the amount of $147,015.00, including taxes, upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the Public Works Director is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
