Summary:

Lewis County plans to replace a culvert on Jackson Hwy S at milepost 0.51. It will be necessary to close Jackson Hwy S to all through traffic during this period. Jackson Hwy S will remain open for local access from either end up to, but not beyond, the point of closure. This resolution would, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, close Jackson Hwy S at  milepost 0.51 in Section 20, Township 11 North, Range 1 West, W.M. Beginning September 13, 2021 and ending September 17, 2021.

Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads for a period of time; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to replace a culvert on Jackson Highway South at milepost 0.51; and

WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close Jackson Highway South on each side of the culvert to all through traffic during the period of such project work; and

WHEREAS, Jackson Highway South will remain open for local access up to, but not beyond, the point of closure and alternate routes are available to access residences beyond the closure.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, beginning September 13, 2021, and ending September 17, 2021, Jackson Highway South at milepost 0.51 in Section 20, Township 11 North, Range 1 West, W.M., shall be closed to all through traffic.
