Summary:

As the Lewis County Drug Court Treatment Provider contract has moved to a different organization as of January 1, 2021, from Eugenia Center to CORE Health, it is proposed that the representative from the previous provider organization be removed and a treatment representative from the new provider organization be added to the CJTA panel.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Resolution 19-194 established the Criminal Justice Treatment Account (CJTA) Panel per RCW 71.24.580 on July 8, 2019, to develop and review the County CJTA plan; and

WHEREAS, membership on the Panel is comprised of eight members to fill required sectors, and members serve three-year terms; and

WHEREAS, Fabiola Gonzalez is removed from the treatment provider Eugenia Center sector with Jerry Clark being appointed to complete his term as treatment provider CORE Health, effective when signed through December 31, 2021; and

WHEREAS, it is in the public’s best interest to continue a CJTA Panel and fill any vacant positions.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the BOCC that Fabiola Gonzalez is removed and Jerry Clark is appointed to the Lewis County CJTA Panel representing CORE Health, effective when approved resolution is signed through December 31, 2021.
