Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed contract #2163-19711 between Lewis County and the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) for the period of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023; and

WHEREAS, funding is available from the DSHS WorkFirst Program for Children with Special Needs in the amount of $19,260 by reimbursing PHSS $325 for each child for whom a first-time evaluation is completed and $225 for each child for whom a follow-up evaluation is completed; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the program agreement between DSHS and Lewis County for $19,260 from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023 is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
