Resolution
APPROVE CONTRACT BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL AND HEALTH SERVICES (DSHS), DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES ADMINISTRATION (DDA) TO OVERSEE ADMINISTRATION OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed agreement #2163-23564 between Lewis County and DSHS/DDA; and
WHEREAS, the agreement will be effective July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, funding is available in the amount of $936,293 to be used to subcontract with local agencies to provide administration, training, employment, child development, community education, family support services, and outreach activities for people in our county with developmental disabilities; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that agreement #2163-23564 between DSHS/DDA and Lewis County in the amount of $936,293 for the time period of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
