Resolution

WHEREAS, the Governor's Office of the State of Washington and the Washington Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) have provided guidelines for mask mandates for Washington State employers; and

WHEREAS, Human Resources has developed a Mask Mandate Update policy, attached hereto as Attachment A, for the departments under the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC); and

WHEREAS, the BOCC wishes to adopt the Mask Mandate Update policy; and

WHEREAS, other elected offices are encouraged to follow the policy or adopt similar policies that reflect the guidance from the Governor's Office and L&I.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby adopts the Mask Mandate Update attached hereto and incorporated herein.
