APPROVE AMENDMENT A TO THE MOU #BIRDSEYEMEDICAL-MASSVACCOVID-19 BETWEEN BIRD'S EYE MEDICAL AND LEWIS COUNTY TO PROVIDE COVID-19 VACCINES TO RESIDENTS OF LEWIS COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on April 20, 2021, passed Resolution 21-163 to approve Agreement #Birdseyemedical_MassVacCOVID-19 with Bird’s Eye Medical, providing $750,000 to fund COVID-19 vaccine consultation, coordination and administration from January 1, 2021, through April 21, 2021; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to extend the term of the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC has reviewed Amendment A to the agreement (#Birdseyemedical_MassVacCOVID-19), which extends the coverage period to January 1, 2021, through July 20, 2021; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC hereby (1) approves Amendment A to the agreement, #Birdseyemedical_MassVacCOVID-19, to extend the term of the agreement through July 20, 2021, and (2) authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
