Resolution
APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD), THROUGH THE MCKINNEY TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM AND LEWIS COUNTY TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR RAPID HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed this agreement, #WA0091L0T012013, between Lewis County and Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, funding is provided by the McKinney Transitional Housing Program grant in the amount of $161,727; and
WHEREAS, funding will provide rapid housing for homeless families with children from May 1, 2021, through April 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that agreement between The Department of Housing and Urban Development and Lewis County in the amount of $161,727.00 from May 1, 2021, through April 30, 2022, to rehouse homeless families with children is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
