Resolution

WHEREAS, the sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Lewis County Communications Interlocal Agreement (adopted by Resolution 18-062) references funding for the repair and replacement of equipment and funding for a new communications facility; and

WHEREAS, the ILA references a separate fund for the accounting of the Building and Equipment fund; and

WHEREAS, capital project funds are used to account for and report financial resources that are restricted, committed, or assigned to expenditures for capital outlays including the acquisition or construction of capital facilities or other capital assets; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the County to establish a capital project for this purpose.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Capital Projects Fund No. 3300 to be known as the Communications Building and Equipment Fund is hereby established to account for and report financial resources that are restricted, committed, or assigned to expenditures related to the Communications new building and equipment acquisition and replacement.
