Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed Amendment A, Contract #C02-0110-21-A, between Lewis County and Cascade Community Healthcare for the period of January 1, 2021, through June 30, 2021; and

WHEREAS, additional funding in the amount of $36,000 for a maximum consideration of $90,000 is available to provide Criminal Justice Treatment Account (CJTA) substance abuse treatment to individuals who are incarcerated in the Lewis County Jail; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Professional Services Contract Amendment A for CJTA treatment between Cascade Community Healthcare and Lewis County in the amount of $36,000 for a total amount of $90,000 effective January 1, 2021, through June 30, 2021, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
